Jesus For President

In light of my recent posts, Jesus For President, is a very important read. Authors, Shane Claiborne and Chris Haw, present one of the most thought-provoking books I've read in quite some time.

This book is not for the faint of heart or those that are not serious about following Jesus (Ummm, should there be any other kind?) . . . Though those who want to find out what following Jesus is all about will find this book very meaningful.

I'm still processing through what I've recently read--really, very, very challenging for those of us who grew up in a "God bless America" and "just war" tradition.

This is a must read!

Sounds like a good read. One of the things that has always appalled me about U.S. Christianity is all the saber rattling.

Hi Greg,
I love all the dialogue during the presidential election year! These are times that cause us to think and observe and think and observe and think..... My brain is hurting....my heart is hurting....I am on edge! I'm so glad I have a personal savior. I know that the president will not save me. I know that my husband will not save me. I know that no issue on the ballot will save me. Nothing at the mall will save me......MY JESUS SAVES ME!!!! Thanks be to GOD!
