Delay

Okay, this is one I hate to write. But, like it or not, you're sharing in this journey with us now.

We received a call late this afternoon that the c-section did not take place. I won't go into the details except to say that they are not health related and the birth mom has not changed her mind about the adoption. (Vague enough?)

The c-section has been rescheduled for 3/21.

Our official welcome into the roller coaster ride called adoption land.

Wow! 2 more weeks, the waiting is the hardest. I pray God's peace is with your family and the birth mother.

It's like your REALLY giving birth to this baby! Don't numb the pain (no epidural!) Living through the pain and the waiting brings ultimate joy and peace. Numbing life's pain will dull your joy. I'm an advocate for ALL that God has in store for us, that means experiencing every step in it's full capacity. It sounds like your right on track! Trusting in God's plan....I will pray.
