Somehow, I believe this to be true
I arrived home from the celebration and turned on the tv to see how the Cleveland Browns were fairing. 70,000 people had gathered to watch two teams play football. Less than 50 family members and friends gathered to watch the baptisms.
I began to wonder who was watching what in the spiritual realms? Could it be that 70,000 angels were having a party in heaven as the 36 committed their lives to following Jesus, while perhaps less than 50 angels attended to the football game? Somehow, I believe this to be true.

Yes, I believe you might be correct.
You mentioned something like this in service yesterday: how people will be themselves and the most transparent in a bar but not at church.
And people will spend an ungodly amount of money on sports memorabilia, game tix, the cable company's NFL Sunday Ticket (or March Madness...whatever the season)...and yet, the food pantry at the church is in desperate need and Haven of Rest (and others like it) are BEGGING for donations.
People go to sporting events, get all excited and shout like crazy, but come Sunday morning, there's not a peep to be heard in the sactuary.
Hmmm...If only the Church could somehow harness the energy that a sporting event creates...
Greg,
Somehow I think you mis-counted!:-)
I believe it would be in the Millions of Angels going nutz in Heaven.
As exciting as the Brown's victory was, you are absolutely on point here bro!
